Carolina began her professional career in a GE Leadership Program designed for Finance, where she received extensive training in accounting, finance, lean operations, and Six Sigma. After completing the program, she transitioned into cost accounting for manufacturing.
Following her time at GE, she moved on to Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at Stanley Black & Decker, focusing on cash flow management and financial reporting for emerging markets. For the last 7 years of her corporate career, Carolina managed iPhone manufacturing and IT infrastructure budgets at Apple, overseeing billions of dollars in budgets, preparing forecasts, conducting variance analysis, and supporting BOD presentations, systems implementations, and audit walkthroughs.
Despite her success in the corporate world, Carolina felt a stronger sense of purpose in using her skills to support small businesses, charitable non-profits, and Homeowners Associations (HOAs). This led her to start her own HOA financial management company, where she now focuses on helping homeowners protect their investments and build thriving communities.
John graduated Magna Cum Laude from Indiana University and began his career at UPS, where his strong focus on accuracy, process optimization, and people development quickly earned him a promotion to supervisor, leading a team of 30 employees. After his time at UPS, John worked as a Project Manager at Prime Therapeutics, where he developed and implemented DHCS-compliant and efficient processes to enhance operations. John is now excited to bring his expertise to Avenues HOA Financial Management, where he is dedicated to developing cost-effective systems and processes that drive operational efficiency. His goal is to ensure that the company delivers high-quality service to clients while maintaining below-market average costs.
